Ramón Sampedro has been bedridden for almost thirty years as a result of an accident in his youth. Since then, the only thing that has kept him connected to the outside world is the window of his room overlooking the sea and his only desire to end his life with dignity. But his days are changed by the arrival of two women. Julia, a lawyer, comes to help him obtain a request for euthanasia. Rosa, a woman from the village, tries to convince him that he is worth living after all. Ramón's extraordinary personality captivates both women and forces them to rethink, for the first time, the principles by which they govern their own lives. Ramón knows that only someone who truly loves him can help him on his final journey.
