Történész elemez: Forrest Gump

History doesn’t just exist in textbooks and archival footage: movies also shape the way we remember a particular era or historical event. But this event won’t be just an ordinary movie screening!

On October 17, the Tűzoltó Film Theater will screen Robert Zemeckis’s cult classic, *Forrest Gump*, which takes us on a journey through several decades of American history through the story of a single man. As we follow the key milestones in Forrest’s life, we see, among other things, the Vietnam War, the civil rights movement, America in the 1960s and 1970s, the Watergate scandal, and the social changes associated with these events.
