Cycle
As a man takes off his worn-out clothes and puts on new ones,
so also the soul gives up old and useless bodies,
to accept new ones in their place." - quote from the Bhagavad-gita
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Yvette Bozsik Company presents a new production entitled Circulation at the National Dance Theatre. During the rehearsal process, the dancers of the Yvette Bozsik Company worked with the choreographer to shape their own roles and presence through self-discovery and collective reflection.

Schedule
The eternal cycle, or samsara, is the recurring birth and death in the material world. The living being wanders around in different bodies until his consciousness is completely purified and he is able to enter the path of pure love. As long as he is a prisoner of illusion, he has no chance of liberation. Unless he seeks happiness on the spiritual plane, he remains a prisoner of samsara. The realised person realises the nature of his soul and sees the soul in every living being. As soon as he begins to inquire into the source of everything, the way opens to his home, his true home, the spiritual realm.
The Cycle is a spectacular and evocative depiction of the human incarnation process and the three stages of life from conception to death. It covers physical, spiritual, mental aspects, developmental and transformational stages. It does this through the art of dance, to music composed for the piece by Philippe Heritier.
National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
