Legújabb testamentum (Le Tout Nouveau Testament, 2015)

"God exists, and he lives in Brussels.” This bold assertion is what sets Belgian director Jaco Van Dormael's film in motion. Before anyone starts to ponder the theological implications of this statement, we should add that these words are spoken by a ten-year-old girl - God's youngest child - before she sets out in search of disciples/apostles. (Like her brother.) The little girl, Ea, hacks her father's computer and goes out into the world, to be among people. The Brand New Testament is a bittersweet and darkly humorous story that asks an important question: are omniscience and omnipotence enough to make our world a liveable place?
