Schedule
The spectacular development of our Orchestra and Choir, and the size of the 327 Mozdony Hall of the Eiffel Workshop, made it possible for the first time in 2020 to perform this gigantic Mahler work, the 8th Symphony, at the beginning of each season, as a kind of rallying cry, with a different conductor each year, and possibly with different soloists. There is hardly a more appropriate work than this great symphony, which will be enjoyed by almost all the musicians in our ensembles, and since 2022 on the stage of the renovated Opera House.

Hungarian State Opera
The Hungarian State Opera House is the only theatre in Hungary with a large company, specialising in operas and ballets. The building is one of Budapest's most important 19th century monuments. It was built in neo-Renaissance style according to the plans of Miklós Ybl. The richly decorated interior was designed by renowned Hungarian artists, including Mór Than, Károly Lotz and Bertalan Székely.
