For many years now, the performers in the Fifth Season have been exceptional exponents of Hungarian music. Their repertoire reflects a broad spectrum of emotions for their audience. Their music alternates between lively, virtuoso, sad, and life-affirming moods. Authentic Carpathian Basin folk music forms the foundation of their songs, with improvisational styles extending beyond. Using a combination of folklore, Hungarian and French language, and poetry in their lyrics, The Fifth Season enchants the audience.
