Fiona McPhillips, the internationally renowned author, is coming to Budapest for the launch of her first Hungarian-language bestseller, The Wounds of Silence, at the PesText Festival.

The poignant thriller about sexual abuse of minors has already generated a strong international response. McPhillips's style is reminiscent of the best of Dennis Lehane's neo-noir and has also attracted the attention of the legendary Stephen King. We highly recommend this extraordinary read, which, in parallel with its promising debut, is an attempt to renew the thriller genre.
