The members of New Fossils are active musicians in the Hungarian and international jazz and popular music scene: their names can be found in such influential bands of the alternative and indie music scene as Mörk, Co Lee, Mordái, Deep Glaze or the Dresch Quartet.

Their music is permeated with a sense of languor, while the end result is clearly linked to the latest strand of contemporary urban jazz. Their song-centric compositions are taken to the next level, sometimes with electronics, sometimes with improvisation. Their debut album was released in spring 2023 and their second album in February 2024 on their own label, Morotva Records.
