Current and ever-changing trends and fashion waves offer impulsive patterns to consumers, who develop a desire to follow and imitate them. But following them can be a challenge for those who want to keep up.

In order to achieve success, distinction and socially recognised merit, certain behaviours, styles of dress and expression are rapidly becoming attractive, and the virtual world is increasingly becoming the space in which they are displayed.

The publication of what happens to us has become a social imperative, perhaps the greatest pitfall of which is the correction of reality in various ways. Perfectly adjusted lights, great overall effect, immaculate surroundings, set poses, and an enviable, always uniform and balanced state of mind.

There is a growing gulf between this fictional, sterile world and reality, where it is a fact that people are not flawless, and their lives are a succession of ups and downs. To deny this natural amplitude is fundamentally at odds with the dynamics of human existence in the real world, and therefore requires an increasing effort to hide it in the virtual space.

Our protagonist oscillates between a fictitious virtual world of her own creation and an unadorned reality, and over time the fake profile of her life becomes increasingly dominant, and her identification with it raises the question of how she can preserve the sovereignty of her true self, her personality.
