7th Budapest Classic Film Marathon

This year's programme will once again feature a number of restoration premieres and film history rarities - with guests, creators and audience meetings.
The Festival's guest of honour will be Wim Wenders, a leading figure in the world of contemporary cinema. Twelve of his highly acclaimed films will be shown on the big screen in restored versions, including Paris, Texas and The Sky Over Berlin. The director will receive the 2024 FIAF Prize in Budapest. Since 2001, the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) has annually honoured outstanding filmmakers who are committed to preserving the world's film heritage.
