Tindersticks emerged in British pop music in the early nineties as something largely unprecedented and completely out of step with any trend. Their highly unique music was a kind of chamber pop in its own right, with intricate instrumentation, strings, big-arched songs and catchy lyrics, with albums that immediately landed in the classic category.

One of the most celebrated bands of the nineties, they have carried their form into the 21st century and continue to perform reliably, with their latest album Soft Tissue, released in September 2024, showing the band back in top form. It is pure luck that this album will see them back on tour in Budapest.
