JaMese
The singer and songwriter of the JaMese band Emese Molnár has been working with poems from the very beginning, in addition to her own lyrics. Her inspiring performance, embedded in a concert, was the result of a call for entries to the Experiential Education Showcase Festival 2023 and was awarded the Papageno Special Prize by the professional jury.

"Words are melodies for me, I just have to find the way I feel most comfortable singing them out", Emese confesses. The orchestra released its fifth album this year, which is the musical little brother of Anna Szabó T. Dudorászó, a new children's poem collection. The songs of Dudorászó Szünidő were performed to great acclaim in the concert hall of the House of Music. But working with poetry is not only about composing music, for six years Emese has been running workshops called ExperienceÉ, where she and the participants write, write texts, melodies, improvise and create with sound. She also tries to incorporate the experiences of these sessions into her performance "How does melody bend into verse?"
In their poetry concert they want to show the audience more of the process of exploration, searching and finding. They also tell the story of the stages of trial, error and repeated attempts. In the process, the participants will unobtrusively embark on a journey of discovery, in which their singing voices will help them to understand the relationship between their mother tongue and music.
