The MAO creative team invites young people to a musical journey. What is the greatness of music? What is musical freedom? Why are limits important? Why do we need to let children play, improvise and create melodies?
The programme playfully explores the similarities and parallels between classical music and jazz music, while also exploring the differences between the two. The programme, consisting mainly of classical jazz pieces and their arrangements, emphasises the fundamentals, concepts and universality of music in a clear and entertaining way. The audience is invited to dissolve their own limitations in a playful, creative and experiential musical performance, bringing to the surface the experience of creation.
