During the St. Martin's New Wine Festival and Libator, the gates of the Skanzen will be filled with St. Martin's Day customs and flavours associated with the autumn season. Visitors can enjoy wine tasting, goose-tasting, learn about the life of St. Martin and make symbols of the autumnal cycle in craft activities.
According to tradition, "if you don't eat a goose on Martin's Day, you'll starve all year round". Goose dishes are therefore an essential part of the festive table.
