The distinctive depictions and unique writing system of the Egyptian civilisation that flourished along the Nile River for thousands of years still fascinate those interested in the past, but the thousands of years old artefacts can be difficult to understand without help.

During the 60-minute guided tours, visitors will explore a single theme: the everyday life, writing, gods, rulers and afterlife of the ancient Egyptians.
Guided tours of the Museum of Fine Arts' Era of the
The guided tours are the first in a series of books entitled "Ages in the Museum", which is unique in that it uses artefacts from the Egyptian Collection to introduce the reader to the ancient Egyptian civilisation that flourished for thousands of years.
The programme is recommended for children aged 9 and over.
