NULLADIK VÁLTOZAT + guest: Pornography

The 35-year-old NULLADIK VÁLTOZAT-a regular in the Hungarian underground-is preparing for the release of its anniversary album in December. This year they have already presented a new song at each of their concerts, alongside their greatest hits (Between the Clouds, Years of Wandering, Metropolis Dance, Where Are You Going). Two years after 2022's Where the Border is, they are back with a new album. In writing the brand new songs, they have also revisited some older compositions that have never been released on official record. So the new album 2024 is also a record of the band's 35 years of work. The album launch concert will take place at the Gödör Klub in Terézváros. Guest: the band Pornography (Hungarian The Cure Tribute).

✚ NULLADIK VÁLTOZAT basically play in the guitar-centric dark style of their formative period, combining it with rock, pop and Balkan elements. Their uncompromising approach has earned them a solid fan base. All this makes every concert a true initiation and a special musical experience. In the 90s, they released albums almost every year and were a regular fixture at music festivals and clubs. In the 2000s, their line-up has changed, but they continue their activities with the usual vigour.

✚ PORNOGRAPHY

The band was founded by the frontman Arpi Cure (Árpád Kisduda, singer, guitarist, keyboard programmer) in the autumn of 2007. Inspired by a deep love of The Cure's music and performances, and the ability to bring them to life on stage. Other current members of the band: since 2011 Harics Williams (drummer Attila Hary). Since 2023, Vince Dávid (Smiley Thompson) has been playing second guitar and is also involved in promotional duties. Their bass player is currently Márk Baranyai (Márkon Gallup), who joined in summer 2024. The band has been touring many clubs in 17 years and has been the permanent closing band at the Black Noise Festival since 2009. The goal and the enthusiasm has not changed since its formation: to bring The Cure's music and stage work to as many places as possible, with a worthy interpretation.
