Cinema Paradiso in Erzsébetváros - a festive cinema experience
2024-12-12T17:30:00.481Z
We start our special Advent wanderings at the legendary site of one of the first cinema screenings in Budapest, and then explore emblematic cinemas together. The anecdotes will reveal which café in Elisabeth Square was the first to host a cinema in Pest. When and where were film fans welcomed in white gloves? In which cinema did the Gestapo live? What did they eat and drink in a socialist cinema? Who was the most famous guest at the Eternal Cinema?
