Schedule

What are the essential ingredients for an Italian dinner? Are Greeks really freer? And what is Rilke doing in a Roman café?

The management of a Russian mining town is ordered to turn it into a Mediterranean resort. Two girls escape the heat into a Roman bar where time seems to have stood still. And a young guy arranges an Italian-style date in his living room to persuade his ex-girlfriend to stay.

Three one-act texts, each lasting a quarter of an hour, will be performed in the form of a reading theatre performance, followed by a community reading with the audience, authors, performers and organisers, and you are invited to join in! The texts are, as always, the result of our open, anonymous bi-monthly call for submissions, selected and developed in partnership with writer and director János Antal Horváth.

The texts of the evening:

🖊 Anna Déri - To another land

🖊 Szilárd Makaró - Mediterransky

🖊 Setényi Sámuel - Sunstroke

András András Losonczy, Albert Rea, Fruzsina Pósa, Hanna Szécskay, Rita Anna Takács, Ruben Tyukody, Orsolya Varga.

During the evening you will have the opportunity to vote for your favourite texts, as we will close each performance with an audience vote!

The event is free of charge, but we thank you in advance for your donation to support the independent contemporary theatre and the continuous development of the project.

🎫 Our aim is to provide as many opportunities as possible for new playwrights to show their work this year.

Location

MANYI

Se nem foglaltház, se nem romkocsma, de mindenképpen olyan közösségi tér és kultúrgócpont, ami olyan egykori történelmi helyek hagyományát viszi tovább, mint a Kultiplex vagy a West Balkán.
