This year marks the 25th anniversary of Romano Drom, one of the best known representatives of contemporary Gypsy culture in Hungary. Since its foundation in 1999, the band has toured the world from Cairo to New York, from South Korea to London, from Beijing to Oslo. They have toured the Middle East, the Far East, overseas and have performed in almost every country in Europe. Their unique musical world has been a resounding success and has made Romano Drom the most sought-after band in the world for their gypsy culture but also for their world music. The band's explicit aim is to bring their unique music to and make it popular with those who may not be familiar with Oláh Gypsy music, dances and culture. This idea can be clearly traced in their albums: they blend the original Ola Gipsy melodies with features familiar from different musical cultures. Good mood, dancing and a special world music experience are guaranteed at every concert.

In 2022, Saïd Tichitiben opened a new chapter in his musical life: he continued the journey he started more than two decades ago under a new name, with a new sound and new musicians. In this musical project, ancient Gnawa, Shaâbi and Hassani songs meet Western styles such as dub, funk and psychedelic rock. The blending of ancient traditions and modern aesthetics creates a great opportunity for improvisation and experimentation. Together with a group of outstanding creative musicians, they offer audiences a true world music experience.

Born in the south of Morocco, Saïd is of Berber mother and black African father. He settled in Hungary in 1998 and a year later founded his orchestra, which has produced six albums and given numerous concerts in Hungary, Europe and Morocco. This adventure culminated in a month-long North American tour from New York to Los Angeles, Chicago, Montreal, San Francisco and New Orleans.

The members of the band are Saïd Tichiti (vocals, percussion, oud, guembri), Ádám Mészáros (guitar), András Kálmán (keyboards), András Koroknay (bass), Zsolt Krecsmáry (drums)
