"When I write these lines, we have already gone through three versions of the Ten Eskimos, just a few days ago we were sitting in my apartment with the three of us, the author, the playwright and the director, and we injected what we thought was the last injection of the writing material.

We insisted on my place of residence, because at the time of writing the Gypsies, we had a defining meeting in the same place, and so many mascots we thought could be a guarantee for the future performance.

The pandemic, the war situation, the inflation, the domestic social conditions are a combination to which the theatre must react, it is obvious that no play has yet been written that bears these impulses. I wanted to make a presentation here in Hungary today. With the playwright Tamara Turk, we considered our options and decided to write a new Hungarian work.

More than ten years ago, we experienced a very inspiring period during the Making Of Gypsies with Krisztian Grecso and we wanted to cooperate again.

The story takes place in present-day Budapest, the writer knows who the actors will be in the production, and for the sake of simplicity, the actors will be given their own first names, except Scalpel, the oncologist Professor and a Courier whose name we do not need to know. Scalpel's brother AGI, former swimming champion, his wife Andrea, their children live abroad.

The remaining part of the family lives in a house with a garden in Buda in fairly good conditions. One night will be interesting for us when Kata and Bela will arrive, then Anna and Bence unexpectedly. David, The Servant of the scalpel, often pours out better drinks."
