💥The Maynard family, a father, mother and their three adopted children, happily live the carefree lives of billionaires. Amon, the head of the family, loves to hunt. But instead of shooting animals, he prefers to shoot passers-by, as the family's power status and staggering wealth exempt them from the consequences. But an investigative journalist goes too far, and Amon finds himself in a tight spot, and it's not just the giant battery factory under construction that poses a dilemma for the oligarch.

💸Daniel Hoesl and Julia Niemann's grotesque satire explores a world of lawless obsessives obsessed with their own power, sometimes with comic wit, sometimes with caustic wit and utter contempt. Veni Vidi Vici fits in well with the class-warfare films of recent years (The Living, The Platform, The Hunt, The New World Order, The Sad Triangle). The motif of the battery factory under construction and the cynical naturalness of the interference in justice, alongside the arrogance and destructive unscrupulousness of the upper classes, make this Ulrich Seidl co-production even more topical, with its killer humour and unexpected twists.
