Amélie, a naive young girl, lives in Montmartre, Paris. She lives a monotonous life, working as a waitress in a neighbourhood bistro and maintaining an intimate relationship with her neighbours as if she lived in a small town. But then one day, an unexpected turn of events occurs: in a secret corner of her apartment, she finds a small box containing childhood mementos of the previous tenant. She decides to return the small box to its rightful owner. From that moment on, her life changes radically, and she realises that she has a way to make those around her happier...
