Schedule

This time Luca Guadagnino (Challengers, Call Me By Your Name) has filmed a sultry novel by American pop culture icon William S. Burroughs. Debuting at the Venice Film Festival, Queer stars Daniel Craig as Burroughs' alter ego, in what the Financial Times called "the best performance of his life". The former James Bond was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his performance.

William Lee (Daniel Craig), in Mexico City, USA, is a young man and a drug addict trying to fill the huge void that plagues him. His eyes are caught by Eugene, who arrives in town and becomes completely fascinated by him. The unattainable, outgoing and enigmatic boy turns Lee's dull life upside down.

Queer is a journey through an intertwined world of loneliness and sexuality, with the stakes of true human connection and self-discovery.
