Műcsarnok's exhibition entitled Vision, Gesture, Experiment | 111 years of Hungarian animation art focuses specifically on the art of auteur animation, a strong and dominant field in the history of Hungarian animation as a whole, but one that is least known to the general public. Even less well known are the frontier artworks that are difficult to categorise and whose optimal "surfaces" of presentation are also difficult to define.
