Top Gun: Maverick

After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy's best pilots, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is right where he belongs. With reckless courage, he's raising the bar as a test pilot and avoiding any opportunity that could earn him a promotion to ground duty. When he is assigned to train a squadron of Top Gun trainees on a special mission unlike any pilot alive, Maverick meets Lieutenant Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), who happens to be the son of Maverick's late friend, Lieutenant Nick Bradshaw, "Goose".

Confronted with his uncertain future and the shadows of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation that forces him to confront his own deepest fears, and requires him to make the ultimate sacrifice for those chosen for the mission.
