Schedule
The community architecture project in Kálvária Square, in the VIII district of Budapest, is a project led by the Spanish architectural and activist group Recetas Urbanas, in collaboration with local participants. The collective, led by Santiago Cirugeda and Alice Attout, are specialists in participatory design and socially engaged architecture. Their working methods are built on the gaps and opportunities experienced by the communities and involved to develop their collaborative skills, solidarity and creative capacity.
In the framework of the OFF-Biennale and in relation to its central theme, a public installation will be created here, in collaboration with the participating civil organisations, existing and emerging communities and residents. The construction and the precedure are both reflections on the accessibility of our public spaces, and the exploration of safety through public, dialogical situations. Taking the characteristics of the space as a starting point, participants will not only jointly design and build a construction for community use, but they will also define its function and operation, which can then become part of the public space in the longer term.

Budapest
The best things to do in Budapest! Several medieval bridges connect the 2 sides of the city that give it its name: Buda and Pest. Cruising along the Danube is a great way to see Budapest in all its glory.
