Once a year, under the golden glow of the sun, the most beautiful woman in the land was chosen. Adorned in lavish silks, her hair braided with gold, she stood at the edge of the mighty Nile, its waters shimmering beneath the moonlight.
The people gathered, their voices hushed in reverence. This was no mere sacrifice—she was the Bride of the Nile, an offering to the river that had given them life, its currents carrying the whispers of gods and kings alike. With a final, graceful step, she surrendered to the depths, a symbol of gratitude to the waters that sustained an empire.
We are thrilled to join Pontoon for its tenth season and to be there for the very first time, bringing our ancient Egyptian vibes to honor a different river—the Danube—as we kick off our summer season.
