𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐍𝐞́𝐩𝐨𝐚́𝐳𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐧𝐨ⵑ
Our guest band 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 pushes the boundaries of free jazz, punk, folk music, and Dadaist humor with raw energy and unbridled improvisation. Anything can happen, and does happen, in the music of this unconventionally instrumented ensemble, from rebellious jazz to oriental melodies to an absurd wedding atmosphere. As a prelude to this, 𝐌𝐚𝐧̃𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚, our colleague, friend, and spiritual shepherd, János R. Szabó, will perform one hour of contemporary Roma music.
After the concert, there will be an extra-special three-hour set by 𝐃𝐉 𝐒𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐝, who, by his own admission, might not play just one thing: cumbia. Starting in the middle of the night, 𝐄𝐥 𝐍𝐢𝐧̃𝐨 and 𝐃𝐉 𝐇𝐲𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 will guide us until dawn, undoubtedly sneaking some electronic beats into their sets
