There are few live bands more entertaining today than the French group Deluxe. The six-member band from Aix-en-Provence—Kaya, Kilo, Liliboy, Pépé, Pietre, and Soubri—were originally discovered on the street by Chinese Man, and since then, with their sound blending influences of funk, electro-swing, and hip-hop—not to mention their trademark mustaches—they’ve grown to become one of France’s biggest live music exports.
Their seventh studio album, *Ça fait plaisir*, was released in the spring of 2025 and is more diverse than ever before: it blends musical genres ranging from pop-rock to Brazilian rhythms, punk, and reggae-hip-hop, featuring guest appearances by artists such as Luizga, Mr. J Medeiros, and Twan Tee.
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
