THE LAST INTERNATIONALE
THE LAST INTERNATIONALE

Schedule
Garage rock, blues, and a sense of freedom – The Last Internationale at Turbina.
New York’s The Last Internationale is far more than just a rock band: their concerts feel more like a liberated, passionate explosion of energy, where blues, garage rock, and modern alternative rock completely merge together. Led by singer-guitarist Delila Paz and guitarist Edgey Pires, the duo’s music is both raw and uplifting, filled with a sense of freedom, powerful messages, and songs that hit especially hard live on stage. The band will arrive in Budapest on November 24 for a show at Turbina.
What makes The Last Internationale unique is how effortlessly they move between different worlds of rock music: one moment they deliver furious, riff-driven tracks, the next they dive into more psychedelic, blues-soaked atmospheres, while Delila Paz’s charismatic stage presence makes the entire performance utterly captivating. It’s no surprise that in recent years they have caught the attention of legendary bands such as KISS and Deep Purple, both of whom they have toured with. In 2023, they also opened for Guns N’ Roses in Athens in front of tens of thousands of people.
The band released their debut album, We Will Reign, in 2014, produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Brendan O’Brien, with drums performed by Brad Wilk, the legendary drummer of Rage Against the Machine. Their second album, 2019’s Soul On Fire, further strengthened this direction. The record’s executive producer was Tom Morello, while the drums were recorded by Joey Castillo (Queens of the Stone Age). The album’s track Hard Times became successful in several countries, while the band’s sound grew even more distinctive: their songs combine the power of stadium rock with the intensity of underground club shows.
Songs by The Last Internationale have also appeared in several popular TV series, including The Blacklist, Banshee, and True Detective. Their music feels both classic and fresh at the same time: you can hear the influence of the rock icons of the seventies, yet the overall sound remains modern, energetic, and instinctive.
The Last Internationale first performed in Hungary last year, when they won over the audience of the Boldogkisfalud Festival with a stunning live show. Now they are returning once again, this time to Budapest, where fans can experience up close the raw energy and passion that have led many to consider the band one of the most exciting live acts on today’s rock scene.
The concert will take place on November 24 at Turbina Cultural Center. Tickets go on sale on May 22 at 9:00 AM via http://www.livenation.hu and http://www.funcode.hu.
