Hungarian & Polish sound clash: Mt. Saint Michel (DJ) | Tymek Papior (live) | GALLT1 (live) @ MANYI
Brace yourselves for an eclectic clash of Hungary and Poland’s underground scenes. On Saturday, November 21, Manyi hosts a meeting point between Polish producers Tymek Papior and GALLT1 alongside one of Budapest's own, Mt. Saint Michel. Expect sounds that shift between worlds: from electro-acoustic improvisation with warped percussion, bass heavy hypnagogic pop with half-sung, half-rapped lines to soundscapes of sirens and industrial thrum. Come ready for an evening where the floor becomes a restless, borderless space, moving with every set.

Schedule
GALLT1 is the solo project of Warsaw-based guitarist and producer Jan Gałosz. Shaped by years in Poland's experimental and jazz scenes as well as his work as co-founder of USO 9001 - he channels that background into a distinctly leftfield pop sound built on songwriting and rap. Genre lines blur easily in GALLT1's music: intricate guitar work, layered samples, and deep synth textures come together into something that resists easy categorization while staying true to his own artistic instincts.
Tymek Papior is a Polish producer and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Warsaw. At the center of his practice sits his drumset, pushed past its traditional role into something closer to protest - a vehicle for social and political expression rather than straightforward performance. His work moves through deconstructed rhythms, heavy bass, and DIY instrument modification, an approach that's uncompromising yet deeply introspective. Prepared drums, a broken accordion, and lo-fi field recordings sit alongside distorted digital textures and synthesizers, blending electro-acoustic sound design with improvisation into music full of shifting spaces and moods.
Mt. Saint Michel is a Hungarian electronic music producer known for crafting immersive soundscapes that blend UK garage breakbeats, ambient atmospheres, and jungle rhythms. Their work navigates deep experimental electronic territory with intricate production and evocative sonic design.
