One of the most exciting acts to emerge from the UK's hip hop and grime scene, Pete & Bas will perform at Dürer Kert on November 25. In just a few years, the London duo have gone from viral internet sensation to international live favorites, carving out a unique place in the genre with their distinctive style and unmistakable personalities.

Formed in 2017, Pete & Bas are two rappers in their seventies who burst onto the scene with their debut single, Shut Ya Mouth. The video quickly went viral, establishing the duo's cult following almost overnight. Since then, they have built their reputation with tracks such as The Old Estate and Dents in a Peugeot, while performing to sold-out crowds at clubs and festivals across Europe. Today, they are followed by more than one million fans across their social media platforms.

The South East London duo are also surrounded by legends. According to their own backstory, they have long-standing ties to the infamous Richardson and Kray crime families, a mysterious narrative that has become just as much a part of the Pete & Bas mythology as their cinematic music videos and charismatic performances. Their work has earned praise from some of the biggest names in British hip hop and grime, including Jaykae, Mist, D Double E, Dizzee Rascal, Giggs, Headie One and Dave. Throughout their career, they have also collaborated with artists such as M24, T-Pain and members of Northern Boys, who were themselves inspired by Pete & Bas to start making music.
