This is a cultural venue that blends organically into the stunning landscape of the Káli Basin, located near the village of Salföld — a place to recharge both body and soul.
The Salföld sand quarry, once abandoned, has been revived and since the end of summer now hosts concerts, festivals, interactive cultural events, and exhibitions.
But you’re welcome even if you're just stopping by for a **refreshing drink or a delicious pizza** while hiking in the area.
Whether you arrive **by bike or on foot**, it’s worth taking a break here and getting to know the local artists.
You’ll find the entrance to The Quarry next to the **Salföld sand quarry**, along the road connecting **Salföld and Ábrahámhegy.
Everything here reflects the many **shades of sand**: the bricks of the iconic venue building, the light brown sunshades, and the soft gravel under your feet.
Guests sit at tables shaded by canopies, surrounded by hay bales, enjoying beer and pizza while chatting away during the sunlit, late-summer afternoon.
The Be Massive Horizon video and event series was created to showcase the **well-known and hidden gems of Hungary through visually striking musical experiences in unique locations.
Launched in 2019, Be Massive Horizon is a video and party series that presents electronic music in extraordinary settings far from typical club environments — right in the heart of Hungary's breathtaking landmarks.
The goal is always to find locations where nothing like this has ever been done before.
In 2021, the series was nominated for Multimedia Project of the Year.
