Time and space - spring performances
"Time passes with love, love passes with time."
(Euripides/Madame de Pompadour)

Schedule
Inspired by Botho Strauss' post-dramatic text 'Time and Room', we reflected on the questions of love, personality and the continuity of time, and then improvised. Unlike in the Hungarian theatre tradition, our performance is not story-driven. Thus, for most of the 90 minutes of the play, there is no coherent plot or characters with deep psychological depth. It is perhaps more worthwhile to watch/view the production as a kind of strange dream.
"The play is something in between: half comedy, half trivia collection. In the first part, many very different people gather in one room, in the second part, many different rooms pass over one person."
(Andreas Kilb on the 1989 premiere of our original text, Theatre Journal, 1993/05)
