Build a synth summer daycamp
This summer at Adaptér instead of going to the zoo or the beach we learn how to create and build our own musical instrument.
Would you like to make your own digital synth?
In July, Adaptér's daycamp is waiting for you where you can learn the basics of instrument building in a graphical programming environment. During the course you'll program a control surface from electronic hardware components so you will be able to connect your instrument to your computer and compose music from home.

Schedule
This summer at Adaptér instead of going to the zoo or the beach we learn how to create and build our own musical instrument.
If you'd like to have your own instrument to compose on at home, and you'd also like to chill with us at Adaptér while you build your instrument from the most basic parts - we welcome you to our summer daycamp!
During the three-day course (each day from 5 to 9 pm):
- we learn the basics of digital instrument making;
- program and build without prior knowledge using Pure Data, C++ and various electronic components;
- the end result is your own unique synth to take home with you
The course will be given by Zétény Nagy, who is a programmer and electronic composer in addition to being an XR content developer. He has presented his work at the Sounddome of the Hungarian House of Music, at the Ultima Festival in Oslo and in Berlin. After graduating from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Zétény completed his studies at Illinois State University in the USA, where he worked on creative technology solutions.
