What happens when a painting steps out of its two-dimensional reality and comes to life? When shapes, colors, and lines are not only visible but also audible and set in motion?

The Sun Is Rising Down is a sensitive sensory game on the border between present-day interpretation and ad hoc abstraction. The performance is inspired by Kandinsky's paintings – however, this time the audience does not view them in their physical form, but hears them and watches their reflections on stage. A performance in which works of visual art are transformed into music and movement, where the venue is not just a backdrop but an integral participant. Where costumes are not physical decoration but sensory debris hidden in the scenery.

Based on András Engelmann's concept and choreography, the dancers of the Willany Leó Improvisational Dance Theater, Dorina Takács, Réka Fodor and Luca Kézdy, together with Ági Varjú's costume designs, create a world where sunset does not mark the beginning of darkness, but rather a slumber into a prolonged reverie.

It is a total work of art in which freedom, intuition, and improvisation come together in a single special moment. It is a social game whose rules we discover together.

If you are curious about what it is like when the sun becomes the stage light and the creation steps out of the canvas to create something unique and unrepeatable in collaboration with other arts, don't miss this experience!
