It has become a tradition that the wonderful ELTE SZEMLE festival is supported by Everyone's Cinema. So, since all the films are already on our server, nothing can stop us from bringing you a random selection of these gems in collaboration with Hengermalom. Let's praise these short masterpieces and all their creators!
For years now, the ELTE film department has been proving that it offers film education of the highest standard. Quietly, ELTE films have become an unmistakable film style and concept. With a zero budget and almost no support, year after year, students create exciting works that seek new paths, practice after practice.
So there will be everything here: cinematic madness, lyrical playfulness, and stretched boundaries. Small animals, big breakups, deadly serious trash jokes, and what is so important to us: a generation's feelings and opinions about this strange and stupid decade we live in.

HENGERMALOM 2025 𓇢
Valyo's latest project, Hengermalom, will continue in 2025. This year, between May 23 and October 12, the mill will welcome city dwellers on fifteen weekends!
With the temporary opening of this iconic industrial building complex located in a natural environment, our goal is to transform the abandoned industrial areas of Hengermalom into a place with its own identity, open to everyone.
What can we expect during this year's ‘mill season’? We will make the courtyard more homely with outdoor furniture, a pop-up bar, playful elements, and plants. The ground floor of the mill will function as a pop-up community and exhibition space, while special events will take place among the huge cylinders of the silo. During the weekends, we will be waiting for you with workshops, children's and family programs, markets, garden cinema, music, installations, performances, and many other exciting programs!
Hengermalom
Hengermalom was once the bread of the town. Today it is a mysterious structure that tells the story of Kelenföld, the city and the river. A new story begins among the huge concrete blocks: the empty cylinders are soon filled with our shared ideas.
