Kislőd
Kislőd is a village located in Veszprém County, Hungary, within the Ajka district.Situated at the foot of the Bakony Mountains, it lies in a triangular-shaped valley bordered by Farkasgyepű to the north, Városlőd to the east, Úrkút to the south, and Ajka to the west.Covering an area of 38.18 km², the village has a population of approximately 1,160 residents.Its main road is the 73 121 secondary road, and it is served by the Városlőd-Kislőd railway station on the Pápa–Győr line.First mentioned in 1378, Kislőd was repopulated by German settlers after the Ottoman conquest in the 18th century. The village's central landmark is the Roman Catholic church, located in the heart of the settlement.Nearby natural attractions include the Csurgó spring's tufa formations and the Csalános Valley, appealing to nature enthusiasts.
