Agg Lili: Lelet T-6391/3
Located in the Gyárváros district of Győr, Torula has operated as an independent art space since 2017. Housed in a former yeast factory, the venue has hosted numerous exhibitions by leading contemporary artists over the past years. This September, Torula presents a solo exhibition by visual artist Lili Agg, titled Lelet T-6391/3. The show forms part of her doctoral research and functions as her masterwork.

Schedule
For the duration of the exhibition, Torula’s former industrial space will be transformed into a fictional excavation site. Object-like paintings, drawings cast in concrete, spatial installations, video installation, and fragmented symbol systems composed of bodily and idol-like forms map the potential role of art in shaping a collective vision for the future. The works approach this inquiry with a focus on materiality and the artwork-as-artifact.
Lili Agg, born in 1991, is a Budapest-based visual artist. She is a co-founder and active member of MŰTŐ, an artist-run gallery and collective established in 2016. She began her doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2020. Her works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Belgrade, Bratislava, Los Angeles, Cluj-Napoca, Vienna, and Budapest. Lelet T-6391/3 is her most extensive solo presentation in Hungary to date, summarizing the past five years of her practice through newly produced works.
