Transylvania Express
Traveling through Transylvania
You can take a real journey through time aboard the Transylvania Express. Wonderful villages and towns, countless cultural treasures – and you can even experience an integral part of our folk culture here: dance, music and song! The former Kingdom is a dazzling region, with its colorful costumes indicating where people come from, what they are like and what social role they play where they live. In the remote Hungarian villages of Mezőség, Kalotaszeg, Bihar, Székelyföld, Csík, Gyimes, and Moldva, we can witness folk culture that has been preserved for centuries. With the rhythmic clacking of the train, the locations change and the moods shift. With this performance, we want to convey the message that traditional culture lives on in all of us who believe in the value of keeping traditions alive, because our future lies in tradition!

National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
