OPEN HOUSE / Maja Juhász & Luca Kovács mostakkor marathon. S01E01-09. PERFORMANCE | Sep/13 | 18.00 | 480’ (8 hours) incl. breaks
Maja Juhász and Luca Kovács' series undjetzt (‘English-friendly’ title stolen from René Pollesch) was one of the most original and liberating performance experiments of the 2024/2025 season. From September to May, the young artists created a new episode each month, which was only shown twice. For Trafó’s season-opening Open House, they now bring all episodes together in an 8-hour marathon evening. Stepping out of Trafó’s smallest performance space and their resident venue, the Cabin, they take over the entire building and invite the audience to a non-sleepover sleepover house party. Binge-performance and series finale in one!

Hi, I'm Luca, I'm Maja, and this is going to be an 8-hour undjetzt event.
Two years ago, we were sitting in the courtyard of the Central Europen University’s dormitory and agreed to do an 8-hour performance. At first, we had plans for giant
puppets, but then we accidentally realized that what interested us was how to become the people we wanted to be, even though we didn't yet know what kind of people we wanted to be. Over the past year, we've done a lot of things that have made us more like that, and some that haven't.
And now, not at all accidentally, we're doing the 8-hour performance, and it won't be exactly like the first season, but more like a sleepover party without the sleeping part.
It's going to be really exciting, for example because you'll be able to go to places in Trafó’s building that you wouldn't normally be able to go to, there will be special guests, and we'll do everything we really wanted to do, but couldn't fit into the Cabin.
So if you feel like it, you could come, and that would be great, and we'd be happy about it.
Kisses,
Maja and Luca
