Tim Atkins
British/Hungarian singer-songwriter Tim Atkins is proud to present the first full EP of his solo project — The Ghosts Come Out at Night — at Manyi on the 13th of September. Tim is all about timeless music. He draws on the sounds of early rock and roll pioneers and contemporary folk artists such as Wilco, Rogér Fakhr, Harry Nilsson, and Paul Simon, combining poignant lyrics with familiar melodies and refined musicianship.
This current batch of songs was recorded in Budapest, where Tim spent seven years touring all the major venues and festivals. In 2022, he moved to London, where he has gained a strong following and sold out venues across the city.
As Tim returns to Budapest, he will be joined on stage by Havasi-Hollanda György (guitar), Nagy Ábel Márton (keys), Pongor Márton (bass), and Stanfel Péter (drums). Guest artists to be announced soon.
Anchorheart
Anchorheart is a folk-rock group formed in Budapest in 2023 by singer-songwriter Francis Cave. Expect clutch guitar solos, heartfelt harmonies, and heavy grooves, all wrapped up in classic storytelling narratives.
Cillian
Cillian is a long-time guitarist and, more recently, a singer-songwriter who has been making his mark on the Budapest music scene for the past two years. He plays a wide mixture of folk, blues, and rock ’n’ roll — with a touch of traditional Irish music sprinkled in. Major influences include artists such as JJ Cale, Davy Graham, Neil Young, Norman Blake, Bob Dylan, Ali Farka Touré, Tony Rice, and John Martyn, among others.
