Have you ever thought that the stories of social inequalities can be not only heard, but felt? Our photo exhibition invites you to do just that. At the event, you can explore our exhibition, created from the “realities” of amateur and hobby photographers, at the Főfotó Gallery. Our central theme is social inequality, and our medium is photography.

There will be a panel discussion, an award ceremony, and of course, you can admire the stunning photographs of the Tükörszilánkok Exhibition.

Schedule

Our goal was to create a photo contest and exhibition that allows us to glimpse the realities experienced by amateur photographers through their work.

In our society, social and economic inequalities shape each of our lives differently – as many people as there are, so many perspectives, so many stories.

For us, photography is more than a hobby: it is simultaneously an art form, a means of self-expression, and a tool for dialogue. A single image can capture a life situation, a thought, or even an unspoken feeling.

That is why we believe that the topic of social inequalities can be understood most profoundly through art.

The aim of our exhibition is to spark social dialogue – between images, ideas, and people.

Our professional jury members are Bertalan Soós, professional photographer, and János Krasznai and Gábor Zsigmond, renowned photographers.

Following the award ceremony, the jury will share their professional and personal insights during a panel discussion on photography and social inequalities.
