Between October 25 and November 2, international cinema takes center stage at the 2nd Budapest International Film Festival.
After its acclaimed debut last year, BIFF returns with nearly 40 films over 9 days: from a Cannes Palme d’Or winner and A24’s headline release to an exclusive Hungarian series premiere.
In our selection - just like last year - we feature audience and jury favorites from major festivals around the world, experimental works by contemporary creators, special screenings, and a retrospective block. This year, we’ve also expanded the program with a new section: our Official Competition, Bloom, which showcases festival discoveries from across the globe and celebrates emerging cinema.
