In the work of Anita Horváth, she experiments with many aspects of existence in the female body, at different levels of interpretation, from a very personal scale focusing on the smallest details of the body to social stereotypes and expectations. In his work, he raises questions at both the personal and social levels: what does it mean to show the body, how stereotypes work, and what does „color correctness ” – mean in technical and cultural terms.

Her installations, photographs, and body prints redefine the clichés of the Roma female depiction while expressing subtle, lyrical feminist criticism.
Horváth seeks self-identity and gives himself permission for visibility – thus seeing the Roma female body and identity from a new, complex perspective.
