Based on Shakespeare's Hamlet.
Hamlet’s father dies, and his mother marries his uncle, Claudius. The ghost of Hamlet’s father tells him that he was murdered by his own brother and urges his son to take revenge. Not everyone can see the ghost. Hamlet is unsure whether this is a vision or reality.
Schedule
Ophelia is in love with Hamlet, and her father, Polonius, uses this to spy on Hamlet. Polonius sends his son, Laertes, abroad. Hamlet’s friends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, also become spies. Hamlet stages a play with an actor to find out if Claudius truly killed his father. Hamlet begins to lose his grip on reality.
Hamlet kills Polonius. After her father's death, Ophelia goes mad and takes her own life. Laertes, Polonius’s son returns home to avenge his father. Hamlet and Laertes duel. Claudius poisons Hamlet and accidentally poisons Gertrude as well. Gertrude dies. Hamlet kills Laertes and Claudius, then dies himself. Horatio witnesses everything; it is his duty to tell the story.
The performance uses smoke, strong sound and light effects.
