The stadium as an abstract landscape | Exhibition by photographer Niki Bolega
Bäse's next exhibition will feature photographer Niki Bolega's latest series, which focuses on the unique architecture of the National Athletics Stadium. The minimalist photos present the stadium not as a sports facility, but rather as an abstract landscape—from the perspective of silence after movement, form, and order.

Schedule
The exhibition entitled "The Stadium as an Abstract Landscape" will be opened on November 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Bäse – Creative Clubhouse by architect Marcel Ferencz DLA, lead designer at NAPUR Architect Kft., which designed the center, and Tamás Sándor, owner and managing director of S-TÉR Kft., which was responsible for the stadium's landscape architecture.
Niki Bolega has previously presented her work at Bäse: the launch of her photo book "100 Water Towers," published by Kedves László Könyvműhely, and the accompanying exhibition were also held within the walls of the Ferencváros community space. Her latest series depicts the paradoxical harmony between urban monumentality and human absence, presenting the stadium as an abstract landscape where silence and order remain behind the movement.
According to Niki's own words, his photographs of the National Athletics Stadium are not about sports, but about attention. The photographer believes that if we look at something long enough, its function falls away, leaving behind pure form, colors, light, lines, and the subtle tension that vibrates between movement and stillness. It is precisely these details that he has captured in this series: the order behind the chaos, the beauty in seemingly mundane structures.
The exhibition can be viewed at Bäse from November 7 to 14, Monday to Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The exhibition will be opened by: Marcel Ferencz DLA architect, Tamás Sándor landscape architect
