Paint your own bookend! /// Azúr Bagoly x Plydesign
At the joint event organized by Plydesign and Azúr Bagoly, the MEANDER bookend becomes an experimental surface: participants work with milk paint, which allows the structure and texture of the plywood to shine through.

The aim of the workshop is not only to decorate an object, but also to experience how design – as a mass-produced, functional object – can be transformed into a personal, one-of-a-kind piece during the creative process.
In the first part of the event, Ágnes Isza, founder of Azúr Bagoly, will log in online and give a short presentation on the history, use, and environmental benefits of milk paint. Participants will also be able to ask questions and try out the material in sync with the presentation.
Thanks to its natural composition, milk paint is an environmentally friendly, safe, and durable material—it creates a surface that develops a patina over time and becomes more refined as it ages.
Participants can take home the finished MEANDER bookend: this way, the object becomes both an experience and a gift, which becomes unique and unrepeatable through personal creativity – at the intersection of a mass-produced design product and an individual creative gesture.
