DjRUM is a renowned underground artist who has quietly but consistently built his own world and fan base since his debut in 2010. In his music, he masterfully combines elements of jazz, hiphop, dubstep, ambient and electronic dance music, while of course moving within the boundaries of techno, modern classical, broken beat, jungle, footwork and many other genres. His inspirations range from sacred music through Meredith Monk and John Cage to experimental publishers of contemporary electronics. His talent lies in his ability to shape these many influences into a unified, personal, and magical musical language in which tekhne and emotional depth meet in perfect harmony.
Simo Cell
Simo Cell vomits on genre entrapments his own club music, combining the aesthetics of defining musical eras. He was born in France with Argentine and French roots and created his own unique world of music. His works with Livity Sound, BFDM, Wisdom Teeth and TEM ⁇ T have broken through the geographical boundaries of the British scene. YES.DJ’s mini-album in 2021 has become a club classic, while his latest album, Cuspide des Sirènes, leads to a candyflip universe. In addition to the dance floor, Simo Cell also composes for contemporary dance productions and installations, while actively speaking out in addition to the ecological responsibility of the music industry.
