At its center stands The Visitation by Master MS, perhaps the best-known painting of medieval Hungarian art. Through medieval depictions of Mary, we explore the human and spiritual experiences of waiting, motherhood, and birth—a gentle way to attune ourselves to Christmas, accompanied by the masterpieces of the Gothic era. The tour is led by Rita Halász, art historian and writer, who reveals the timeless stories hidden within the artworks with her personal sensitivity.
Participation requires a ticket to the temporary exhibition and a guided-tour program ticket (1500 Ft).
